We are seeking a MARKETING COORDINATOR to join the team in one of our California locations, which include Pleasanton, San Diego, and Irvine. This dynamic and enthusiastic team member will provide specialized support to the Marketing Team in the development of proposals, business development deliverables, publications, presentations, award submissions, and communications initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of managing multiple fast-paced project deadlines simultaneously, and team-oriented, supporting other administrative team members across the firm.

Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is required to be onsite at least three days per week, and as needed for office, team, or employee meetings, at one of our locations in Pleasanton, San Diego, or Irvine, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Support the Marketing Team and Project Managers/Principals in developing winning proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview presentations.
  • Write, edit, and organize content and graphics for marketing pursuits and promotional materials, including digital communications.
  • Support social media initiatives, coordinating relevant messaging and graphics as needed.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, and content across pursuits and marketing communications in alignment with DAHLIN’s Brand Book and graphic standards.
  • Update and maintain marketing materials such as project sheets, case studies, resumes, and copy databases.
  • Assist with business development tracking, including data entry in the CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint).
  • Conduct client and new project opportunity research to support strategic marketing pursuits.
  • Coordinate marketing and company events, including planning, logistics, setup, and takedown (e.g., market sector strategic planning, PCBC party, art show, annual company meeting).
  • Manage and organize imagery and graphics within DAHLIN’s Digital Asset Management system (OpenAsset).
  • Coordinate trade show materials and equipment and attend events as required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in AI tools, including ChatGPT.
  • Graphic design experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to present a positive image of DAHLIN consistent with our brand.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and editing abilities.
  • Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion.
  • Adaptable personality with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint CRM and OpenAsset a plus.
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry highly desirable.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of related industry experience in the A/E/C field preferred (not required).
  • Involvement in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00-$33.00 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
