We are currently seeking a MARKETING COORDINATOR to join the team in our PLEASANTON, CA location. The Marketing Coordinator is a dynamic and enthusiastic team member primarily responsible for providing specialized support to the Marketing Team related to DAHLIN’s proposal and business development deliverables, publications, presentations, award submissions, and communications initiatives. The individual in this position must be highly organized to successfully manage multiple fast-paced project deadlines simultaneously and in a timely manner. The candidate must also be team-oriented and support other administrative team members firmwide.

Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position is required to be onsite at assigned office a minimum of three days per week and as required for office/team/employee meetings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Marketing Team and Project Managers/Principals to generate winning proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview presentations
  • Provide written content and organize graphics for marketing pursuits and promotions including digital communications
  • Support social media initiatives, coordinating the relevant messaging and graphics, as needed
  • Ensure consistency in branding, format, and content, for pursuits and marketing communications following DAHLIN’s Brand Book graphic standards and guidelines
  • Update and organize marketing information for project sheets, case studies, resumes, copy database, etc.
  • Assist with business development lead tracking, including data entry in our CRM system, Vantagepoint
  • Conduct client and new project opportunity research, as needed, in support of strategic marketing pursuits
  • Coordinate marketing events, such as event planning, set-up and take-down
    (ie. market sector strategic planning, PCBC party, art show, and the annual company meeting)
  • Coordinate imagery and graphics and organize them in our Digital Asset Management system, OpenAsset
  • Coordinate trade show materials and equipment and attend events, as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in AI tools including ChatGPT
  • Graphic design experience is strongly preferred
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and a self-starter
  • Professional demeanor and able to present a positive image of DAHLIN in line with its overall brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent grammatical, proofreading and editing abilities
  • Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information
  • Adaptable personality, with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint CRM a plus
  • Knowledge of OpenAsset a plus
  • A/E/C industry experience is highly desirable

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism or relevant field
  • Involvement in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a plus
  • 2-3+ years of related industry (A/E/C) experience, is highly preferred but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions or visa sponsorship.

The hourly pay range for this position is $28.00-$33.00 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
