At DAHLIN, Interior Design is valued as an integral part of all built environments. We are seeking a SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER to help shape the future. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary, client-focused designer ready to step into a leadership role and build something meaningful.

This is a hybrid position that requires onsite presence at one of our company locations, as well as travel to other company sites

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the design of a wide variety of projects with a deep understanding of client vision, architectural style, and regional character.
  • Create and champion high-quality design solutions from concept through completion, blending innovation with real-world constructability.
  • Guide and inspire a growing team, overseeing visualization, deliverables, and design execution
  • Design to varying possibilities while maintaining design excellence and delivering on the client's expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Ability to communicate compellingly, think visually, and deliver exceptional interior design that thoughtfully responds to clients’ needs.
  • Ability to present design solutions directly to clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Ability to lead intuitively and adaptively in a collaborative environment, with a focus on advancing the team and growing the design portfolio.
  • A keen eye for uncovering a project’s unique attributes and thoughtfully leveraging them to craft a seamless, enriching experience both inside and out for its users.
  • Ability to mentor staff and guide projects through all phases of interior design—from concept to delivery.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of proven experience overseeing interior design projects for various building types and leading from a creative design standpoint.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design is required. Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Revit, SketchUp modeling and experience in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Commitment to their own professional growth
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position

We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer the opportunity to participate in a pre-tax Flexible Spending plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and 401k.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
