We are currently accepting applications for our SUMMER MARKETING INTERN position in our PLEASANTON, CA office. Under the guidance of the Digital Communications Manager, the Summer Marketing Intern will assist with internal and external communications-focused tasks supporting DAHLIN’s website, social media channels, and intranet. In addition, the intern will collaborate with the broader marketing team to support firmwide initiatives.

This role requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday at our Pleasanton, CA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry, organization, and maintenance of marketing software including:
    • OpenAsset – Digital Asset Management (DAM) System
    • Synthesis – Intranet Platform
    • VantagePoint – Client Relationship Management (CRM) System
  • Assist with updating the DAHLIN website and social media channels
  • Support marketing events and industry conference planning activities
  • Perform other administrative duties for the marketing team, as needed

Additional Communications-Focused Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and schedule social media posts aligned with the firm’s brand voice and marketing campaigns
  • Assist in writing and editing website content including project descriptions, news updates, and blog-style posts
  • Monitor and report on digital engagement metrics, helping evaluate performance and optimize future communications
  • Collaborate on internal intranet stories and employee-facing announcements that highlight firm culture, milestones, and events
  • Support development of e-newsletters, award submissions, and branded email communications
  • Contribute to organizing digital content calendars and assist in maintaining consistent messaging across platforms.

Experience:

  • Relevant coursework in business, marketing, communications, or related fields in pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is highly desired
  • Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and analytics tools is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Pay range: The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
